Hey it’s Josh,
And recently I feel like subscription services are getting out of control.
Remember when Netflix was simple, affordable, awesome? Now it seems like they raise prices every month and treat sharing our password an international incident.
And it’s not just Netflix, tools I use every day from Slack, Calendly, Zapier, etc. All used to be free and have all the features I need, but now they have so many limits on the free plan that make them unsuable unless your “upgrade” to a paid plan.
So when I started building my solo business assembeling more and more tools I found that the total monthly price was rising fast. At fist I didn’t notice $15 here, $20 there, $97 for CRM, but gotten ridiculous well over $200 month.
So I started cutting services and looking for a solution.
That’s when I came accross David’s post from his substack The Lumberjack.
The Solution
David has come up with a solution that I think makes a lot of sense.
A business operating system for solopreneurs.
He calls it alfredOS.
All your must-have tools—email, calendar, project managementpre-installed, open-source, and 100% free. No SaaS middleman, no monthly bills. Just you, owning your setup and tweaking it however you want.
It was perfect. I reached out right away and we partnered to offer readers of No-Code Exits $150 off the pre-order price.
There is limited time to buy at the one time pre-order price and get the discount.
If you’re already paying a monthly bill it’s a no-brainer to pay a one time fee to own your own tools and customize them to your needs. I bought right away can’t wait for the next updates later this week.
David has also made it possible to earn alfredOS for free by referring freinds to his substack.
